Digital X-rays

Dentist explaining digital x-ray picture to patientHomeTown Dental performs digital x-rays to fully diagnose a patient’s dental situation
Every patient is unique. Just like our fingerprints, no two teeth are the same. Any bump, ridge, line or internal tooth or gum structure could indicate a problem. That’s why HomeTown Dental specializes in digital x-rays, because they allows us to closer analyze and look for problems.

Dental X-rays Look Past What’s Visible to The Eye

Digital x-rays help HomeTown Dental locate and treat small dental problems that can be easily overlooked to the eye. This allows us see everything going on with your teeth and gums, this way we can identify and treat early signs of cavities and gum disease, which can eliminate future dental problems.

Safety First!

When performing an x-ray our dental team takes all the necessary precautions to ensure that patients of all ages are safe. The procedure is harmless and quick so our patients remain comfortable as we take and analyze their x-rays.

It is important to inform your dentist that you are pregnant. We are able to perform a dental x-ray on pregnant women, but only if the patient brings a medical release from her doctor. This is because more traditional x-ray equipment may use higher than normal levels of radiation but HomeTown Dental uses digital x-rays that use less radiation. But it is still important to have a medical release to ensure the child and the mother’s safety.
